Rather than easing into his presidency with polite conversation and photo ops, Trump went straight to work like a kid let loose in a candy store. The media, always ready to roast a Republican, dubbed him “DON NONSTOP,” a title that seems more suited for a hyperactive toddler than a commander-in-chief.
One might wonder what kept Trump so busy in those early days. Turns out, the list reads like a conservative wish list. He was signaling to his base that he meant business on issues from immigration to healthcare. Actions ranged from tightening immigration policies to pulling out of terrible international agreements, proving that he was not just a man of his word, but also a man of action. The left, of course, melted down faster than a snowman in July, but that’s par for the course whenever someone comes in and crashes their party.

But for many Americans who had been kept in the dark by years of political stagnation, Trump’s pace represented a refreshing break from tradition. He wasn’t just another politician; he was a wrecking ball heading straight towards an overgrown government bureaucracy that had forgotten who it was supposed to serve.
The legacy of those first days demonstrates that a leader with a vision can achieve significant things rapidly, regardless of the incessant bleating from the left and the media. In a world where dragging feet and empty promises have become the norm, Trump’s swift and assertive actions were a much-needed call for action, reminding conservatives everywhere that sometimes, chaos can lead to progress.
