While the rabid leftists try desperately to paint President Trump as a failure, he once again proved them wrong at the G7 Summit in Canada. Even with the shortest of visits, Trump managed to secure a phenomenal trade deal with the U.K., setting the stage for what can only be described as a win-win for both countries, but especially the United States. This is no fluke. It’s just another notch in the belt for a leader who knows how to get things done.
Let’s break it down for those with liberal blinders on. The U.S. will rake in an astounding $6 billion in new tariff revenue, all thanks to Trump’s strategic negotiation prowess. By raising tariffs on U.K. imports to 10% while the U.K. slashes tariffs on U.S. goods to a mere 1.8%, Trump has not only leveled the playing field, he’s flipped it in our favor. That’s leadership folks—something the elite Washington establishment has no clue about.
The armchair globalists and anti-American media love to claim that Trump is isolated on the world stage. Yet, here we see firm, hard evidence of a productive relationship with the U.K.’s leader, defying their doomsday narratives. Trump and Britain’s leadership are on the same page, looking out for their people, not the bureaucratic nonsense that often swamps trade talks. While the talking heads in D.C. blather on about climate regulations and identity politics, Trump is busy creating jobs and securing income for Americans.

And as if striking a major trade deal isn’t enough, Trump was busy building alliances that matter. Discussions with the Italian leadership revealed the priority of stabilizing volatile regions, like the Middle East, and cementing transatlantic relations. While Democrats vacillate and virtue-signal, Trump gets to the core issues impacting global peace and prosperity.
Contrast this with the partisan games and incompetence displayed time and again by Trump’s opponents. While they fumble and flout the will of the people, Trump demonstrates what real governance looks like. This trade deal is a beacon of American strength and ingenuity against a backdrop of here-today, gone-tomorrow political charades.
So here’s the question: When will the naysayers admit they’re on the wrong side of history? Maybe the success of this deal will open their eyes, but don’t hold your breath. It’s time for America to embrace this momentum because it’s clear Trump is playing in the big leagues while others can barely field a team.
