In a world where Democrats would rather gallivant to foreign lands than address the pain of their constituents, the meeting between President Trump and Patty Morin, mother of Rachel Morin, shines like a beacon of true leadership. Patty’s daughter was brutally murdered by an illegal alien, and one would think that her story demands national attention. But no, the liberal media would rather air Bernie rallies and talk endlessly about basketball. They ignore a grieving mother’s plea for justice because it doesn’t fit their narrative.
The heart-wrenching encounter between Patty Morin and Trump demonstrated what real empathy looks like. While the President gave her comfort, reminding her of her daughter’s pride and watching over her, he also showcased what Democrats fail to grasp: a strong America means securing our borders. Why do they ignore the very real threats that illegal aliens pose to our safety? Because it doesn’t sway with their vision of open borders and appeasement.

And let’s talk about Senator Chris Van Hollen, gallivanting off to El Salvador as part of some misguided mission, yet he barely acknowledges the tragedy that occurred right in his political backyard. His priorities are clear, and they aren’t with the American people. Instead, he blames Republicans for this tragedy, never once extending a consoling word or action to the family he is supposed to represent.
The sheer negligence exhibited by mainstream media, like CNN and MSNBC, who brushed aside Patty Morin’s powerful words, says more about their agenda than any of their headlines ever will. It’s as if they’re afraid to tell the heartbreaking stories of American families harmed by illegal immigration, as if protecting Americans is somehow against their principles.
With all of this ignorance and betrayal from the supposed “leaders” and “journalists,” is it any wonder why Americans continue to lose trust? President Trump’s compassion and strength is a reminder of what true leadership looks like. If protecting our children and securing the nation’s borders is not a priority for the left, then who exactly are they working for?
