In a recent article, Daily Beast contributor Jose Pagliery made the laughable claim that former President Donald Trump provided Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg with a “smoking gun” in his business records case. It’s clear that Pagliery’s assertion is nothing more than wishful thinking from a biased liberal perspective.

Pagliery conveniently ignores the fact that Trump himself is confident that these legal attacks will only boost his chances of reclaiming the White House. And why wouldn’t they? Every time the left tries to take Trump down, he rises in the polls like a phoenix from the ashes.
Pagliery goes on to discuss Trump’s failed attempt to have the case transferred to federal court, arguing that payments made to Stormy Daniels were a federal matter. However, U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein swiftly shut down this baseless claim, emphasizing that personal affairs and paying hush money do not constitute a presidential duty. It’s clear that the courts agree with Trump’s assertion that this case is nothing more than a politically motivated attack.
The judge even made it crystal clear that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg does not have to prove that Trump committed a separate felony. All Bragg has to do is demonstrate that Trump intended to commit a crime. This is a stretch of the legal imagination and further emphasizes the desperate tactics being employed by the left to bring down a political icon.
But while the left continues to waste their time and resources on these frivolous legal battles, Trump remains unfazed. In fact, he seems to be reveling in the attention, boldly declaring that every indictment actually bolsters his popularity among his base. And the numbers don’t lie. A recent Ipsos poll found that 6% of Biden voters are now planning to switch their support to Trump, with an additional 19% unsure or considering a third-party candidate.
It’s clear that Trump’s resilience and unwavering support are a force to be reckoned with. These legal attacks only serve to further solidify his position as a political powerhouse. While the left continues to waste their time pursuing baseless charges, Trump continues to build momentum and lay the foundation for a triumphant return to the White House.
