The so-called experts and liberal elites have been predicting doom and gloom ever since President Trump introduced his tariffs. They tried to scare us into believing these tariffs would send inflation skyrocketing and ruin our economy. But here we are, and guess what? Inflation’s not spiraling out of control. It’s only at an annualized rate of 1.4%. So much for the naysayers!
Let’s get one thing straight. America’s not getting the short end of the stick anymore. Under President Biden, inflation ballooned to 3.1% in his last 30 months, not to mention an astronomical 8.6% during his first 18 months. Yet, while the Biden administration floundered with excuses, Trump’s administration showed us true leadership. The man has put America first, plain and simple.
Inflation during Trump's 2nd term is an annualized 1.4%, which is less than the '09-'20 average of 1.8% and less than half the 3.1% annualized rate during Biden's last 30 months – to say nothing of the 8.6% rate during Biden's first 18 months… pic.twitter.com/bAZNJ2K55c

These tariffs aren’t some burden on American consumers—they’re a tool of leverage. President Trump knows that America is the world’s most powerful consumer market, and it’s time other countries stop freeloading on our generosity. They’re the ones eating the cost of these tariffs because they can’t afford to lose access to American buyers. This is what winning looks like. The Bureau of Labor Statistics even confirmed that the Consumer Price Index barely moved, rising by only a measly 0.1% in May.
It’s the globalist crowd, with their anti-American bias, who can’t stand to see this happening. They prefer policies that enrich foreign producers at the cost of American workers. Trump’s tariffs, on the other hand, are flipping the script. Trade deficits? He’s tackling those head-on, and jobs are coming back home. Trump isn’t just negotiating deals; he’s redefining the rules. The world better take notice or prepare to lose.
Why should America bow down to nations that take advantage of us? Countries like South Korea and Japan have had it easy for too long. If they want to be part of our market, they need to play fair and by our rules. The tariffs set to kick in soon will level the playing field and demand fairness. These are the bold moves that America needs in this era of global trade.
For those doubting the power of Trump’s trade vision, consider this: if others absorb the costs while we maintain economic strength, it’s clear who’s in the driver’s seat. Under Trump, America is calling the shots and setting the terms. Who wouldn’t want a leader with such audacity? Are the liberals ready to wake up and smell reality? Probably not. But at least America’s future warriors are armed with facts and a leader who is truly on their side.
