The Biden administration’s lenient immigration policies have been a national disaster, turning the United States into a revolving door for criminals and fraudsters. Thankfully, President Trump’s team is now cracking down hard on the millions of visa holders in this country and abroad. They are using every federal database possible to perform continuous vetting, aggressively hunting down visa overstays, criminals, and even potential terrorists. This is the kind of tough, no-nonsense approach America desperately needs—something sorely lacking from the globalist-friendly Democrats who seem eager to invite lawlessness and chaos.
It’s staggering to realize that around 55 million foreigners worldwide hold U.S. visas. Most of these are long-term tourist or business visas granted thanks to prior administrations’ obsession with swelling migration numbers at all costs. These visas, far from being harmless, are often abused. Many foreign nationals working illegally on tourist visas have contributed to a rise in crime and unsafe conditions on American roads and workplaces. The shocking case of a Russian truck driver on a visa who killed two Americans in a crash is just one example of the dangers of lax oversight. Meanwhile, the Biden crowd happily handed out decade-long tourist visas to Chinese nationals with zero concern for what that meant for American workers or national security.

The bureaucratic maze surrounding visas is a nightmare that has allowed hordes of foreigners — some of whom have no business being in the country — to flood in without real accountability. Student visas revoked for crimes like assault and DUI should never have been issued in the first place. Yet, under radical open-borders advocates, these visa holders were given a free pass for far too long. Now, with Trump’s deputies stepping up visa cancellations and vetting, including canceling multi-year visas connected to potential security threats, we’re finally seeing an America-first policy in action. The Department of Homeland Security is no longer turning a blind eye and is using data-sharing tools to track down illegal migrants and blatant fraudsters — exactly what should have been done years ago.
Even more infuriating is how the Left pretends that loosening immigration controls and offering legal status to illegal migrants is some humanitarian victory. Make no mistake: these “partial legal statuses” fuel crime, job theft, and cultural erosion. The fact that ICE can now use data like money transfers to track and deport illegal migrants who have been living here for decades is a sharp rebuke to the ineffective, let-them-stay policies of the Biden administration. It proves that enforcement can be smart, surgical, and unyielding when those in power actually care about protecting American citizens.
If this is the future of immigration enforcement, then the Trump team is on the right path, exposing the failures of liberal immigration policy that put Americans last. Continuous vetting of millions of visa holders worldwide is exactly the kind of patriotism America needs, not the open-border insanity that endangers every community. It’s about time someone started putting America first — because if we don’t defend our borders and citizens now, who will?
