Tucker Carlson Dares Liberal Outlet: Backstage Showdown Unleashed!

Tucker Carlson, the conservative Fox News host, received a rousing response from his audience when he challenged the liberal Canadian Broadcasting Company (CBC) to interview him and air the interview for all to see. The incident took place during an event in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, where Carlson took the opportunity to aim directly at the CBC, which had reporters covering the event.

During the event, Carlson shared the stage with Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, who was discussing plans to increase natural gas production for Canadians—a plan that Carlson openly appreciated. However, before leaving the stage, Carlson couldn’t resist making one final point.

Addressing the presence of CBC reporters in the media section, Carlson exclaimed, “Wait, can I say one last thing? You said CBC is in the room. I would love to do an interview with CBC. Meet me backstage. I dare you to put it on TV.” This bold challenge further delighted the crowd, showcasing Carlson’s charisma.

Earlier in the event, Carlson also took a swipe at Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, mocking her “high self-esteem” while acknowledging their previous connection as journalists. He even criticized the Financial Times for hiring Freeland during her early career, humorously claiming that her self-esteem was “bomb-proof” and she seemed impervious to any evidence of her own mistakes or idiotic views.

Unsurprisingly, Carlson’s remarks earned him a standing ovation from the Canadian audience, with some even likening his reception to that of a rock star. Since leaving Fox News, Carlson has enjoyed a surge in popularity, becoming a leading figure on X (formerly known as Twitter). With millions of views for every video he posts, Carlson continues to interview influential personalities and report on a variety of issues, from the Ukraine conflict to the German farmer protests and the riots on January 6, 2021.
