Former Democratic representative from Hawaii, Tulsi Gabbard, went on the Fox News channel and gave a scathing rebuke of her own party on their warmongering and elitism. The Democrats, she said, are losing supporters left and right because they’ve become a cabal of elitist warmongers who’ve lost touch with America. The party used to appear to be anti-war during the Bush era, but now they’re cheerleading for war in Ukraine, which is complete insanity.

During her interview with Laura Ingraham, Gabbard made her opinions of the Democrats very clear. She pointed out that the party hasn’t grappled with the fact that people are leaving because of numerous reasons. They’ve gone far left and left behind America, becoming an unrecognizable coalition of radicals who are pushing the party further towards insanity. Unfortunately, the list of reasons people are leaving the party is long, but at the top of that list is the fact that the Democrats have become an elitist cabal of warmongers.

Gabbard didn’t stop there, she continued to explain that the cabal is made up of corrupt politicians, the propaganda media, big tech, and the national security state. In her opinion, they are weaponizing the security state to go after political opponents. More and more Americans who may have considered themselves Democrats in the past will leave the party because of a whole host of other reasons, but the main one will always be the party’s thirst for war and their disconnect from the American people.
It is refreshing to see another prominent Democrat join the ranks of those who speak out against the party’s hypocrisy. Perhaps this will mark the beginning of the revival of a once-solid party that has lost its way. In the meantime, the Democrats need to look in the mirror and ask themselves if being an elitist cabal of warmongers is what they want to continue to represent.
