In a shocking display of chaos, a village council member in western Ukraine set off three hand grenades during a meeting, causing serious harm to himself and at least two dozen other meeting attendees. The wild scene was captured in a jaw-dropping video that quickly spread on social media, leaving viewers and witnesses alike dumbfounded.
The man, identified as Serhii Batryn, sauntered into the meeting room of the Keretsky village council and callously brandished the grenades, pulling their pins one by one and tossing them into the room. The incident occurred as the council members were in the midst of discussing the community’s budget, turning a routine meeting into a scene straight out of an action flick.
The bewildering attack resulted in a staggering 26 injuries, with six of the victims in critical condition. As for Batryn, the reckless detonation left him with severe injuries, prompting a frantic rush by paramedics to save his life.
