In a shocking revelation, Democratic New York Rep. Ritchie Torres has exposed the international community’s shady dealings with the devil himself. In a series of hard-hitting tweets, Rep. Torres accused the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) of employing Palestinians with ties to terrorism, particularly Hamas. He boldly declared that the international community has “blood on its hands” for funding an agency that propagates Jew hatred and allows terrorists to walk among us.
Rep. Torres didn’t hold back in his criticism of Hamas either. He pointed out that Hamas exists not to govern Palestinians in Gaza, but to carry out their primary mission of murdering Jews in Israel. It is astonishing that the international community would willingly cut a deal with the devil, or in this case, Hamas. The level of scandal and stupidity displayed by those who support such a deal is simply mind-boggling.

The allegations against UNRWA’s employees participating in the invasion of southern Israel on October 7th have sent shockwaves through the international community. Numerous countries, fed up with these revelations, have suspended their funding to UNRWA. Approximately 10 percent of the agency’s Gazan staff, or 1,200 members, have ties to terrorist groups such as Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad. It is clear that UNRWA is not just dealing with a few bad apples; the whole institution has become a haven for Hamas’ radical ideology.
UNRWA’s response to the loss of funding is quite telling. Instead of acknowledging the severity of the situation, they took to Twitter to boast about being the largest aid organization in the Gaza Strip. They even had the audacity to claim that their assistance, especially during times of war, is indispensable. This level of arrogance is truly baffling, considering the organization’s direct involvement in fueling hatred and extremism.
Founded in 1949, UNRWA was initially meant to provide relief and works programs for Palestinian refugees and their descendants. However, it has since come under heavy scrutiny for its troubling activities. One glaring issue is the inflammatory content taught in UNRWA-run schools. Textbooks filled with praise for violent struggle, promotion of the erasure of Israel, and rampant antisemitism have been exposed. It is outrageous that taxpayer dollars have been funneled into an organization that perpetuates such hatred and fuels conflict.
Rep. Ritchie Torres deserves commendation for his bold stance against the international community’s deal with the devil. His calls to hold UNRWA accountable and stop the flow of funds to an organization that harbors terrorists are absolutely necessary. It’s high time that the world opens its eyes to the dangerous game being played and takes swift action to dismantle the UNRWA’s influence. Lives are at stake, and it’s time to put an end to this scandalous charade.
