A recent survey conducted by Redfield & Wilton Strategies has found that former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden in several crucial swing states. This news comes as a blow to Biden and his team, who were hoping to solidify their hold on these key battlegrounds.
In Arizona, Trump is leading by six points, with 41 percent of the vote compared to Biden’s 35 percent. Independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. also garnered some support in the state, with ten percent of the vote.

Florida is another state where Trump has a commanding lead, with an 11-point advantage over Biden. Trump has 45 percent of the vote, while Biden only has 34 percent. Kennedy again got some support, with nine percent of the vote.
Georgia, Michigan, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania are also swing states where Trump is leading Biden. In Georgia, Trump has an eight-point lead, with 42 percent of the vote compared to Biden’s 34 percent. Kennedy has eight percent support in the Peach State. In Michigan, Trump has a slight lead of two points, with 39 percent of the vote compared to Biden’s 37 percent. Kennedy again received some support, with nine percent of the vote. In North Carolina, Trump has a four-point lead, and in Pennsylvania, he has a one-point advantage.
What is particularly interesting about this survey is not just Trump’s lead in these swing states, but the sentiments among swing state voters. Regardless of their personal preference, more swing state voters believe Trump would emerge victorious in a head-to-head matchup with Biden. In Arizona, for example, Trump is leading by 14 points among voters who believe he will win. A similar pattern emerges in other swing states, with Trump having an 11-point advantage in Florida and North Carolina, and a six-point advantage in Georgia.
Furthermore, the survey found that Biden is suffering more from Kennedy’s participation in the race. More Biden voters from the 2020 election say they would vote for Kennedy if he was a candidate in all six states polled. In Florida, three times as many Biden voters compared to Trump voters would vote for Kennedy, and in Georgia, more than six times as many Biden voters would do so.
These results are consistent with other recent polls showing Trump leading in swing states. It is clear that Trump still has a strong base of support, and Biden will need to work hard to regain momentum in these crucial battlegrounds.
