Four years ago, a dangerous illness called cowardice spread all over the United States. This disease was even more harmful than the coronavirus, and it affected many school leaders. The high school seniors in 2020 were some of the people who suffered from the illness. They didn’t get to have their graduation ceremonies because of the panic.
Now, those high school seniors from 2020 are getting ready to graduate from college. But unfortunately, in some places, they are facing the same kind of problem.
A video was posted on a social media app called TikTok by a University of Southern California senior. In the video, she used words like “funny” and “surprising” to talk about the news that her school had canceled the graduation ceremony again. The reason for the cancellation was safety concerns from anti-Israel protests on campus.

Last week, USC canceled the traditional graduation speech from the top student, Asna Tabassum. She is a 21-year-old person who supports Palestine. Many students are upset about the cancellation of the ceremony.
The person in the video explained that she and her classmates missed their high school graduations because of the COVID-19 pandemic. She thought it was just bad luck. She also said that everyone at USC works very hard and the school is not easy to get into. So, she and her classmates are very disappointed that the graduation ceremony was canceled.
The young woman in the video was very upset and disappointed about the situation. She asked why the school couldn’t have handled the protests differently and why they were canceling the graduation for a class that never got to have a high school graduation either.
