A Virginia man was busted by the long arm of the law after close to half a million dollars worth of deadly fentanyl was found in his Chesterfield County crib, announced authorities on Saturday. The offender, Anthony Pollard, 45, is in hot water now, facing multiple felony charges, such as smuggling a controlled substance into Virginia and possession with the intent to distribute, as per the Virginia State Police.
This sneaky situation unfolded following a rigorous investigation by law enforcement, when Pollard’s pad was thoroughly searched. The Virginia State Police disclosed that their investigation led to the discovery of roughly 3,000 grams of fentanyl in powdered form at Pollard’s residence. Holy moly, that’s a mind-boggling estimated street value of nearly $492,000! In total, the staggering amount of fentanyl powder seized from Pollard’s North Chesterfield crib tips the scales at a whopping 6.6 pounds. Yikes!
