Walz Accused of Romanticizing Communist China, Risking US Values

Tim Walz’s affinity for communist China raises more than a few eyebrows, and that’s putting it mildly. Once a humble governor of Minnesota, Walz seems to have been bewitched by the People’s Republic, long before his outlandish campaigns for progressive ideologies made him a household name. His early dalliance with the Chinese regime will have many wondering if he’s just another politician out of touch with reality or if he has a more troubling admiration for totalitarianism.

The evidence dates back to his teaching days in the early ’90s, where he enthusiastically lectured Nebraska high school students on the virtues of a system that has led to starvation and misery for millions. Walz is reported to have described the Chinese regime as a utopia of sharing, blissfully ignoring the sordid realities of the one-child policy and the state’s brutal methods of enforcement. Despite the horrors associated with such restrictions, his vision of communism paints a picture where everyone magically earns the same salary and is provided with basic needs. Perhaps someone should inform him that equality in communism doesn’t equate to any sort of fulfillment or prosperity.

His year spent in China appears to have left a lasting impression, with Walz reminiscing about being treated like royalty in a land fresh from the Tiananmen Square Massacre. It’s a curious perspective for someone who served in the National Guard and should understand better the value of freedom, yet he glowed over his experiences with gifts and hospitality from the very regime responsible for widespread oppression. The contrast between his reality and that of the average Chinese citizen could not be more stark, but who needs facts when you’ve wrapped yourself in the warm, fuzzy blanket of ideological nonsense?

As if this admiration for the CCP wasn’t concerning enough, Walz has reportedly carried on this warm relationship by facilitating student trips to China through a company he founded. His efforts to promote the Chinese way of life among young Americans would make one question whether he’s prioritizing education or diplomatic relations – though the answer might be obvious given his track record. His time at Macau Polytechnic University, a government-supported school, raises further questions about his potential biases when it comes to policy-making on behalf of the American people.

With his ties to a regime known for its oppressive tactics and a blatant indifference to human rights, it’s no wonder observers are concerned about what a Walz vice presidency might mean. His longtime affection for the Communist Party raises alarms about foreign influences over domestic policy, especially when those influentials are intent on infiltrating our government. For voters looking ahead to the upcoming election, Walz’s record might signify a significant risk, making the Harris-Walz ticket appear less a choice of leadership and more a gamble with national security and freedom.

Voting against the Harris/Walz ticket will not just be about opposition to their leftist policies; it will be about rejecting a romanticized and troubling view of a regime that stands in stark contrast to American values. In a time when common sense seems at odds with progressive agendas, perhaps giving the CCP a seat at the table—via a vice presidency—is simply a bridge too far.
