Protesters are learning the hard way that sometimes their own tactics can be turned against them. In a recent incident in Europe, counter-protesters crashed a “Just Stop Oil” meeting and gave activists a taste of their own medicine. Instead of peacefully enjoying a vegan meal and celebrating their “accomplishments,” these climate activists were met with a surprise. Two people from the counter-protest group, “Just Stop Pissing Everyone Off,” tied rape alarms to bundles of balloons and released them into the air. The alarms floated to the top of the vaulted ceilings, causing chaos as the activists scrambled to reach them.

It’s about time someone stood up to these climate protesters. They’ve been storming museums and desecrating priceless art, blocking traffic in ridiculous ways, and even gluing themselves to the pavement. But now, they are facing the consequences of their actions. I love that these counter-protesters didn’t just play defense, but took the fight to the activists’ own event. It’s poetic justice to see them dealing with the same disruptive tactics they inflict on others.
Of course, the activists tried to downplay the incident, claiming that the rape alarms were a metaphor for the urgency of the climate crisis. Give me a break. These alarms were meant to annoy and disrupt, not make some profound statement. It’s clear that these activists are just looking for any excuse to justify their disruptive behavior.
It’s time for normal people to take a stand against these climate protesters. We’re fed up with their antics, and it’s clear that the police aren’t doing anything to stop them. So, expect to see more clashes between counter-protesters and activists in the future. Hopefully, this will send a message that their disruptive behavior won’t be tolerated anymore.
