The political landscape is nothing if not predictable when it comes to the left’s playbook on damage control. Barely after the revelation of Joe Biden’s Stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis, the usual suspects are calling for an immediate ceasefire on discussing Biden’s evident cognitive struggles. Apparently, CNN and their cronies think that because Biden’s diagnosed with an illness, it means the glaring issues with his mental capacity should be swept under the rug too.
Consider this: Biden has apparently been living with this cancer for years, possibly even his entire presidency. So why does this diagnosis suddenly mandate a moratorium on scrutiny and discussion about his fitness, both mental and physical, to have held the highest office in the land? The timing is suspect, to say the least. It’s as if we’re meant to ignore a lifetime’s work of incompetence because of an unfortunate medical report.
Liberal strategists have long mastered the art of weaponizing crises. Nothing like a dire health revelation to stir up sympathy and silence critics. It’s cynical, to be sure, yet entirely textbook for a party that regularly acts in its own self-interest above that of the nation. These left-wing media figures are now peddling the narrative that any exploration into Biden’s mental health should be muffled. As if America should blink and forget the trail of forgetfulness and incoherence that he left behind.
It was a funny thing to see so many of Obama-era figures on TV Sunday and Monday as the condition of former President Joe Biden was discussed. Biden, as you doubtlessly know by now, has Stage 4 prostate cancer, a cancer notorious for its slow spread and… https://t.co/fS2bzUWurq pic.twitter.com/5hCL679EoI

Meanwhile, those of us paying attention are well aware of the timing. Just as Biden’s disaster-ridden presidency was being re-examined due to a new book exposing the missteps and cover-ups, CNN and its affiliated spin doctors push for compassion over inquiry. How convenient for them. But let’s not forget the American people deserve accountability and transparency, not smoke and mirrors.
In a desperate bid for narrative control, they’re telling Americans to step back and let the story die with a whimper. We cannot and should not comply with this attempt to muffle conversations about fitness for office under the guise of respect for his personal battles. The appropriate respect is making sure the truth reaches every voter. Ignoring the facts is a dangerous precedent that betrays the American people. Will folks ever tire of this empty theater?
