The Department of Homeland Security wants Americans to believe that catching more terrorism suspects at the border is somehow a win. They’re jumping for joy over this, calling it a sign of a strong and secure border. But anyone with a modicum of common sense knows this is nothing more than a shocking reflection of a deeper problem. While the agency claims success because they’ve nabbed more bad guys than ever, the real question is: why are these suspects even getting this close in the first place?
Bureaucrats at DHS are patting themselves on the back for having the “best border numbers” in decades. But in reality, they’re ignoring the elephant in the room. Why are we seeing a spike in potential terrorists trying to barge into our country? For years, left-leaning policies have allowed chaos to fester, inviting trouble to our doorstep. It’s preposterous to call it a success when dangers increase due to neglect and incompetence.

Less crime at the border sounds great – until you realize that more terrorists are trying their luck. It’s like spraying air freshener in a room where the trash hasn’t been taken out in weeks. The smell might be nicer, but the rot remains. Leftists seem comfortable looking the other way, but Americans deserve better. It’s time for an honest conversation about the liberal negligence that’s leaving our border as vulnerable as ever.
Globalists and open-border enthusiasts want us to believe that high numbers of intercepted threats are proof of a job well done. In reality, it’s evidence of a system waiting to crumble. The idea that more arrests of terrorists is a “good thing” is yet another example of upside-down thinking that prioritizes international appeasement over American safety. Our nation’s security should never be a subject of spin and skewed narratives.
So, should Americans be celebrating when DHS waves statistics that say, “Look! We found more terrorists”? Or should we be demanding a border strategy that keeps these threats far away from ever reaching our sacred soil? If preventing harm isn’t the main measure of success, then what are we really doing at the border? Just waking up to headlines of political spin while our security hangs by a thread.
