Apparently, this was enough to send a far-left activist into a full-blown TikTok-worthy tizzy.
As it turns out, Target has specific guidelines regarding employee attire. Staff members are required to wear a solid red shirt with sleeves, without large logos or offensive graphics. While this particular shirt, perhaps a personal statement, was argued by some not to break company policies, it contradicts Target’s restrictions on “large logos” or “offensive graphics.” Alas, this did not deter the activist, who unleashed a tirade of insults, accusing the employee of supporting a “racist.”
The great debate began as the activist demanded to know why the elderly woman would wear such “unacceptable” attire while working. Despite the heated accusations flying her way, the Target employee remained composed, calmly stating that differing opinions did not warrant such hostility. Her suggestion to take any complaints to a manager seemed like the most rational course of action amidst the chaos.
