The Greater Cleveland Congregations has been demanding that candidates promise not to prosecute juveniles as adults, even if they’ve committed violent crimes, and to allocate an outrageous $500,000 from the prosecutor’s budget for their pet projects. The current prosecutor, Michael O’Malley, has rightfully refused to kowtow to these absurd requests, citing his duty to uphold the law and protect the community from dangerous criminals. He’s taken a firm stand against the radical left’s attempts to undermine the justice system and jeopardize public safety.
Meanwhile, Matthew Ahn, O’Malley’s progressive challenger, has shamelessly pledged to comply with the GCC’s demands, showing his true colors as a puppet of the radical left. His website is filled with all the typical progressive buzzwords, and he even comes out against cash bail, essentially arguing that being poor excuses criminal behavior. It’s clear that Ahn is more interested in pandering to the far-left agenda than in upholding the rule of law and keeping the community safe.
It’s no surprise that the far-left Industrial Areas Foundation, with ties to the infamous Saul Alinsky, has been providing guidance to the Greater Cleveland Congregations. This group is determined to push its radical agenda and is even receiving funding from the county to support its work. With these radical forces at play, it’s no wonder that dangerous and unqualified candidates like Matthew Ahn are being propped up to serve the far-left’s interests.
The future of Cuyahoga County hangs in the balance as the Democratic primary approaches in March. The stakes could not be higher, and the choice could not be clearer. Will the county reject the dangerous agenda of the radical left and re-elect Michael O’Malley, a prosecutor who stands strong against their extreme demands, or will it succumb to the chaos and lawlessness that comes with embracing the woke warrior Matthew Ahn and his far-left allies?
