The liberal crazies over at MSNBC are already losing it over the upcoming Republican debate. Jose Diaz-Balart, the MSNBC anchor, couldn’t resist diving into the absurdity by talking about the word “woke.” Apparently, according to Diaz-Balart, this word means so many different things to different people. Wow, what a revelation! He then had MSNBC Correspondent Trymaine Lee explain the history of the word, claiming it was originally used in the black community as a way to stay aware and vigilant. But now, Lee argues, those pesky conservatives have co-opted it and turned it into something negative. According to him, using the word “woke” is practically equivalent to using a racial slur. Give me a break!
It’s clear that MSNBC is desperately trying to make a big deal out of nothing. The use of the word “woke” has simply become a political phrase used to criticize the extreme left’s obsession with political correctness. But of course, MSNBC wants to twist it and make it seem like Republicans are being racist. Can they stoop any lower?
As always, we can expect the mainstream media to go into meltdown mode during the debate. Thankfully, Townhall will be there to provide live coverage and show the world just how biased and unhinged the liberal media really is. Let the circus begin!
