In the modern world, technology is taking over many aspects of life, even vacations! A brave traveler recently decided to let artificial intelligence plan a 48-hour seaside getaway from London, trusting it to create the perfect itinerary. The only rule? Strict adherence to whatever the AI suggested. What could possibly go wrong, right? Let’s take a closer look at this techy trip.
The traveler asked the AI, dubbed Gemini, to find a seaside destination, and it suggested Saltburn by the Sea. Now, many might not have heard of this charming spot, but its combination of stunning views and affordable prices won the traveler over. It was time to pack bags and embark on an adventure! However, the journey began with a hiccup. The AI’s directions at the train station were less than stellar, causing a bit of confusion that nearly made the traveler miss the train. A promising start, right?
Once the traveler arrived in Saltburn, the weather took a turn for the worse—wind, rain, and speeding traffic were not exactly the welcome party one hopes for. Yet, Gemini still suggested a walk to the hotel. While some may call that encouraging healthy choices, the traveler noted it was more of an oversight than a good idea under those conditions.
