Manhattan’s district attorney Alvin Bragg continues to waste taxpayer dollars on his personal vendetta against former President Donald Trump. It’s no secret that Bragg is more interested in earning political brownie points than actually serving the people of New York. With crime rates soaring and the city in dire need of real leadership, Bragg’s determination to pursue a baseless trial against Trump is a slap in the face to hardworking New Yorkers.

Instead of focusing on important issues like public safety and combating the surge in violent crime, Bragg seems fixated on making headlines and grandstanding for the cameras. It’s a sad day when a public servant puts their own ego and political ambitions above the well-being of their constituents.
The costly and unnecessary trial against Trump is nothing more than a vanity project for Bragg, and the people of New York are the ones paying the price. It’s time for Bragg to stop playing politics and start focusing on what really matters – the safety and prosperity of all New Yorkers.
