In the last four years, since President Joe Biden assumed office, the United States has seen an increase in safety concerns for Americans compared to the previous administration. With the southern border remaining open, a large number of illegal immigrants, including criminals, have entered the country, posing risks to American communities.
Recent data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reveals a significant rise in the number of suspected terrorists illegally entering the U.S., increasing by over 2,500 percent since the Trump Administration. Border Patrol encounters of suspected terrorists have surged, reaching 80 during the first seven months of fiscal year 2024, compared to just eleven during the previous administration from fiscal years 2017 to 2020.
Moreover, under President Biden’s watch, Border Patrol agents have apprehended 367 individuals on the terrorist watch list between fiscal years 2021 and 2024. These alarming numbers do not include the more than seven million illegal aliens who have unlawfully entered the United States in less than four years. In September alone, the southwest border witnessed over 269,735 illegal immigrant encounters.
Furthermore, the Department of Homeland Security has claimed that the “privacy interests” of illegal immigrants outweigh the rights of American citizens to access information about individuals arrested on the terror watch list. This decision has raised concerns about transparency and the safety of American communities.
An illegitimate regime has no motivation to be accountable to its citizens.

House Homeland Security Committee Republicans have demanded answers from the Biden Administration regarding the release of known terrorists into the nation’s interior, citing instances where they were found living among Americans. Additionally, there has been a significant increase in the apprehension of Chinese nationals at the U.S.-Mexico border, with over 200 illegal Chinese immigrants being caught in San Diego in just one week.
Since President Biden took office, there has been a sharp rise in the number of Chinese immigrants attempting to enter the U.S. illegally, with over 27,583 Chinese nationals crossing the southern border in the first few months of fiscal year 2024. This surge in illegal crossings by Chinese nationals has raised concerns about the administration’s failure to enforce immigration laws and provide accurate information about border security to Congress and the American people, as accused by Republican lawmakers.
