Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, or as the conservative folks like to call her, AOC, is at it again, folks! This time, she’s tearing into the Biden administration over its decision to hit the pause button on those dollars flowing to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). And why, you ask? Well, it turns out some of the agency’s employees have been tied to the Hamas attacks on Israel.
AOC took to the Twitterverse, as she often does, to blast the administration’s move, calling it “unacceptable” and “indefensible.” She even went as far as to demand that the US restore aid to the agency immediately. Cue the eye rolls from the conservative crowd!

But wait, there’s more! She also made an appearance on NBC’s Meet the Press, emphasizing the need for humanitarian aid in the region. Oh, AOC, always one to make herself heard, especially when it comes to spending those hard-earned tax dollars, am I right?
Meanwhile, over at the Biden administration, they announced a little timeout on the funds after it came to light that 12 UNRWA employees were allegedly involved in an attack that left thousands dead. The State Department spokesperson, Matthew Miller, even chimed in, saying they’re putting the brakes on the cash flow while they take a closer look at the situation.
And if that wasn’t enough, an Israeli intelligence report dropped a bombshell, revealing that a chunk of UNRWA staff in Gaza have ties to, you guessed it, Islamist militant groups! Talk about a plot twist. Looks like AOC might want to take a second look at who she’s fighting for, eh?
Social media, as always, had a good ol’ field day with AOC’s defense of the UNRWA. One conservative commentator slammed her for being “cool with” the whole Hamas link situation, while another labeled her a “terrorist sympathizer.” Yikes!
Seems like AOC might’ve stepped in it this time, folks. But hey, at least it’s keeping things interesting in the political circus!
