The comparison is stark when looking at the government’s track record, such as the disastrous rollout of the Obamacare website versus the successful innovations brought forth by companies like Uber and Lyft. While individuals in government may have good intentions, the lack of competition and accountability often hinders any significant progress.
Conservative voices argue that privatization could lead to better outcomes, pointing to examples like the turnaround of Jaguar after being sold to private investors. They also criticize the inefficiency and mismanagement of taxpayer dollars, citing instances of fraud and wasteful spending within government projects.
