At a press briefing, John Kirby, the White House's press secretary, stated that there is no national security concern regarding the money that was sent from foreign sources to the private accounts of Joe Biden's family. However, his statement seemed shady and raises questions. The report by the House Committee on Oversight revealed that over $1 million was transferred from a Romanian individual to an associate of Biden.
The memo from the House Oversight Committee discusses a report by NBC News that revealed how Hunter Biden’s work for a Romanian national, Gabriel Popoviciu, went unreported during his time as the Vice President. Despite his public involvement in the country, the individual transferred over a million dollars to multiple family members.
The payments stopped after Joe Biden left his position as the US Vice President. Also, a Romanian national was investigated and later convicted for corruption in the country.
A company known as Bladon Enterprises Limited transferred over $3 million to the Robinson Walker LLC account. This is one of the many companies that Biden associates established after he became the US' vice president. The funds were then transferred to multiple accounts owned by Biden's family. Among these accounts were those of his children Hunter and Hallie Biden. The report by the Committee of Oversight is deeply concerning.

When Diana Glebova of the Daily Caller asked John Kirby about the report by the House Oversight Committee regarding the foreign funds flowing into the accounts of Joe Biden’s family, the press secretary stated that there was no national security concern. However, he admitted that he had not been able to read the report. This statement continued to raise questions about the Bidens' business dealings. The White House regularly denies any involvement in reports that reveal damaging information about the family's financial transactions.
