In an effort to get around the Supreme Court's decision on Roe v. Wade, President Joe Biden signed a new executive order.
On Wednesday, the President signed the order while speaking virtually in front of other top White House officials.

Many legal experts are worried that this latest attempt to protect so-called reproductive rights will break the Hyde Amendment, which says that federal funds can't be used for abortions unless the mother is being raped, incestuously raped, or the mother's life is in danger.
Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre gave a vague answer when asked about the order at a White House press briefing. She then left the podium.
In the meantime, Biden has kept asking Congress to make Roe v. Wade a law so that abortions can be done everywhere.
Congress must codify the protections of Roe as federal law.
And if Congress fails to act, the people of this country need to make their voices heard.

The Biden administration has not yet set a firm date for when these changes will be made.
