Biden-Harris Admin Packs DOJ, Lacks Confidence in Kamala for 2024

The apparent lack of confidence in Kamala Harris’s potential as the Democratic nominee for president is becoming a glaring issue for the Biden-Harris administration. If the administration truly believed in her capabilities, they wouldn’t be scrambling like a dog chasing its tail trying to put former President Trump behind bars with another indictment from special counsel Jack Smith. Recent events suggest they might be using the Justice Department as their own personal weapon, showing a remarkable level of desperation just months ahead of the 2024 election.

The conspiracy runs deeper than mere legal maneuvers. Recent documents obtained by The Daily Caller reveal that the Biden-Harris team has resorted to some sneaky hiring tactics to fill key positions in the Department of Justice (DOJ). This “Schedule A” hiring authority lets them staff critical roles without the need to follow usual merit-based appointments, which raises eyebrows about how serious they are about keeping their agenda alive beyond 2024. Apparently, if they aren’t worried about Trump’s comeback, they wouldn’t need to pack the DOJ with allies.

There’s a notable number of lawyers and judges being appointed to various divisions of the DOJ, particularly those that align tightly with the administration’s interests—such as Immigration Review, Antitrust, and Environmental and Natural Resources. All this hiring has been happening since Biden took office, creating a little army of bureaucrats who will stick around even if Trump decides to revive America in 2025. It’s a crafty strategy to ensure that any Trump presidency would have a harder time unravelling their policies, even if it risks losing the Democrats’ credibility in the eyes of the public.

This Schedule A hiring mechanism, which is supposedly designed to assist those with intellectual disabilities and other significant challenges, is being used as a cover to fill positions with sympathetic appointees rather than the most qualified candidates. The Biden-Harris administration blatantly disregards the spirit of this program to instead foist individuals loyal to their agenda on the populace. Protect the Public’s Trust rightly points out that manipulating these hiring practices seems aimed at hamstringing any future administration, signaling that they expect a change in power sooner rather than later.

Among these moves is the hiring of over 100 immigration judges appointed without a competitive process, a decision that lays bare their attempts to bolster their controversial open-border policies amid a growing crisis in immigration courts. The backlog of immigration cases has surged from 1.3 million to a staggering 3 million under Biden, and clearly, the administration wants to ensure that those making decisions on these cases are ideologically aligned. This coordinated effort reaffirms the notion that if they felt secure about their chances in 2024, they would have no need to orchestrate such a scheme.

It begs the question — why on Earth would the Biden-Harris administration take such convoluted steps to secure its vision if they felt their candidate could genuinely win? With all their strategic maneuvering, one can’t help but think they might just be trying to keep the wolf of Trump away from the door. This frantic need to “Trump-proof” the federal government suggests a level of anxiety that speaks volumes, revealing a dark cloud hanging over any belief that Kamala Harris will indeed ascend to the top spot in the next election.
