President Joe Biden has made it clear that he is considering a run for the 2024 election, but has yet to make a final decision. In a recent interview with PBS, Biden stated that he would be honest with the American people if he had any health problems that would prevent him from doing the job. He also noted that people should just watch him to see if he is fit for the role.

The White House has yet to make President Biden’s yearly physical examination public, which is scheduled to be released on February 16th. Despite surveys indicating that a considerable portion of Americans are worried about his mental health, he has declined to take a mental health test. In July, 54 House Republicans requested Biden to take a cognitive assessment to allay these concerns.
Biden has hinted multiple times that he is considering a presidential run, and has told Americans to “watch” him if they have any doubts about his health. He recently spoke at a Democratic National Committee meeting and stated that they are just getting started and have a lot more to do. DNC Chair Jaime Harrison also commented that they are preparing for Biden’s announcement and are doing all they can to build up for the moment.
It is clear that President Joe Biden is seriously considering running for the 2024 election, but whether or not he will actually go through with it remains to be seen.
