In recent news, the president has been discussing a future presidential run and sharing a slogan with his liberal friends, but it doesn’t seem like it’s catching on. Since Joe Biden has taken office, inflation has gone up, the economy’s recovery from the pandemic has been slow, and job growth hasn’t met expectations. Not to mention, wage growth has only recently matched up with inflation, making everyday items more expensive compared to when Donald Trump was president.
Taxes keep going up, but Americans aren’t seeing the benefits. Biden himself has complained that the infrastructure projects he promised aren’t progressing as planned. Despite this record, the president seems to be projecting a positive outlook for the future and seeks to instill fear of his opponent.

During a CNN interview, Biden seemed out of touch with average Americans’ daily struggles. He mentioned that people have the money to spend, despite the significant increase in grocery prices since the beginning of the pandemic. But the reality is that many Americans are living paycheck to paycheck due to rising expenses. In fact, a 2023 survey revealed that nearly four-fifths of Americans struggle to save or invest after paying their monthly expenses.
It’s clear that this administration is out of touch with the financial realities of everyday Americans. Despite the struggles that many people are facing, the current administration insists that things are going well. If this is their perspective, it might be better to adopt a more honest slogan. If the Biden administration continues down this path, voters may appreciate the honesty in the long run.
