Biden Quakes as RFK Jr. Hunts 2024 Ballot Spots With Google Ex-Wife

The Biden White House appears to be gearing up to tackle Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s independent candidacy head-on, utilizing all available political resources. Nonetheless, the son of the late attorney general is relentlessly working to secure his name on the ballot in over a dozen states, including critical battlegrounds for the upcoming 2024 election. Adding to the intrigue, Kennedy has selected Nicole Shanahan, a prominent attorney, biotech executive, and former spouse of a Google co-founder, as his running mate. The campaign is exuding confidence, claiming to have gathered sufficient signatures to secure a spot on the North Carolina ballot.

Let's face it, third-party candidates have historically been like persistent mosquitoes buzzing around the heads of Democrats and Republicans alike. Who can forget when Bush 41 blamed Ross Perot for complicating his 1992 re-election bid? Now, President Biden may view RFK Jr. as a genuine threat in what is anticipated to be a tightly contested election. Democrats are feeling uneasy due to Kennedy's renowned family name, fearing he could siphon votes from their camp. Consequently, they're seething with frustration toward him. Adding insult to injury, Kennedy had the audacity to assert that Biden poses a greater threat to the country than Trump. When CNN attempted to bait him, Kennedy adeptly turned the tables, underscoring Biden's alleged use of state power to silence political opponents.

Kennedy's assertion, "The greatest threat is not somebody who questions election returns," does carry some weight. Will I vote for him? Probably not. Nevertheless, mark my words, if he secures a spot on the ballots he's targeting, he'll inject a hefty dose of spice into the electoral mix. And I have a feeling this might be the last time RFK Jr. receives a warm welcome at CNN's doorstep.
