In a surprising move, Joe Biden has once again brought up the 2017 events in Charlottesville, Virginia as a reason for his decision to run for president. The former Vice President seems to be clinging to this story like a security blanket, hoping it will give him some sort of political edge. But let’s be real here, folks. Using a tragedy for political gain is just plain cringeworthy.
Biden has made it clear that he blames President Donald Trump for the chaos in Charlottesville, but the truth is that the blame does not rest solely on the shoulders of our Commander-in-Chief. Biden conveniently forgets to mention the violence perpetrated by leftist Antifa groups, painting a misleading picture of the events. It’s like he’s wearing a blindfold and pointing fingers in the wrong direction.

This whole narrative seems like a calculated attempt to stir up emotions and sway voters. It’s a classic case of playing the victim card and trying to demonize the opposition. But let’s not forget the facts here. President Trump condemned the violence in Charlottesville and unequivocally denounced the hate groups involved. Yet, Biden continues to push this distorted version of reality for his own political gain.
One thing’s for sure, this tired old story of Charlottesville is not going to win Biden any points with critical thinkers. If he wants to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate, he needs to come up with some fresh ideas and stop leaning on the crutch of past tragedies. It’s time to move forward, Joe, and leave the political gamesmanship behind.
