In recent news, President Joe Biden received a different kind of welcome at an auto racing event than former President Donald Trump. The crowd at the Miami Grand Prix greeted Trump with chants of “USA!” and he was given a tour of the McLaren Racing car before the race. Meanwhile, Biden’s team likely anticipated a less enthusiastic reception for the 81-year-old president.

It’s worth noting that the information comes from a source with ties to Trump’s campaign, and a Brazilian newspaper shared similar footage showing Trump being applauded by the audience. Trump interacted with the McLaren Racing CEO and personally congratulated driver Lando Norris on his victory, even humorously attributing the win to his presence, which Norris appreciated.
It’s unclear whether Biden would have been similarly received at the event, and his attendance at such a race is unlikely. Nevertheless, there’s no doubt that the contrasting reactions to both leaders are noteworthy.
