The corrupt Biden administration has once again turned their sights on a Republican candidate in an obvious attempt to squash the competition. This time, they’ve gone after West Virginia Governor, Jim Justice, and his son Jay Justice’s coal companies. After the governor announced his 2024 Senate candidacy against Democrat Joe Manchin, the Biden Department of Justice has filed a civil suit against 13 coal businesses owned or ran by Jay Justice, citing over 130 alleged environmental and health violations.
The lawsuit is undoubtedly politically motivated, intended to threaten anyone standing in the Democrats’ way of ousting a Republican candidate. It is a blatant abuse of power, crossing all boundaries of justice and political decency. The state’s GOP has been speaking out loudly and clearly against this malicious act, accusing the DOJ of being nothing more than a weapon of the Democrats.
Ted Cruz, R-TX, rightly pointed out that the Biden DOJ is engaging in, perhaps, the most political and partisan action of any Department of Justice in US history. It should not surprise anyone that Biden’s weaponization of the DOJ would continue, especially against his political opponents, including Donald Trump Jr., and now even Jim Justice’s family.
The DOJ has stooped to a new low, working hand-in-hand with the Democrats, using the full force and power of the federal government to attack Republican candidates. It is a crisis for America, as Richard Grenell, former Acting Director of the US National Intelligence, pointed out.
The fact remains that Jim Justice’s son running a coal company, like many other similar companies, is legal and necessary for the economy. But, unfortunately, this administration is so blinded by its radicalism and thirst for power that it will do anything to see the Democrats in control, even if it means violating the rights of innocent people.
Currently, Jim Justice is the leading Republican candidate for the Senate seat against Joe Manchin, polling 22 points ahead. It is no wonder the Democrats are turning to such desperate measures to try to maintain their stronghold on the Senate. But make no mistake; the American people are smarter than that; they see through the Biden Administration’s lies, deceit, and authoritarian tactics. They will not stand for this abuse of power and will vote out the Democrats come election time.
