President Joe Biden, in his relentless pursuit to play Oprah with taxpayer money, has unveiled a new student debt slashing plan worth a whopping $12 billion. Yup, you heard that right, folks. $12 billion! That’s enough to make even Bernie Sanders blush.

After the Supreme Court rightfully shut down his unconstitutional loan forgiveness scheme, Biden and his minions over at the Department of Education cooked up another costly plan to shower nearly $5 million in handouts in December. Because, you know, why not just throw money around like confetti at a parade, right?
In his fiscal year 2025 budget proposal, Biden is pushing for the creation of the fancily named Reducing the Costs of College Fund. Seriously, could the man be any more creative with the names? This fund aims to lower those pesky college costs for students, all in the name of furthering his socialist student loan forgiveness agenda. Because apparently, Uncle Sam should foot the bill for every 20-something’s Gender Studies degree.
Biden is touting himself as the champion of student debt cancellation, claiming to have waved his magical executive action wand to cancel the debts of nearly 4 million borrowers. Some might call it generosity, others might call it a reckless abuse of power. You be the judge.
But wait, there’s more! Biden wants to eliminate origination fees on federal student loans, boost Pell Grants, and expand free community college. Because why work hard and pay your way through school when you can just rely on the government to foot the bill, am I right?
And let’s not forget Biden’s special treat for those attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. He’s offering two years of free tuition for families making less than $125,000. Because apparently, skin color now determines who gets a free ride through college. Way to promote equality, Joe.
Overall, Biden’s student debt forgiveness frenzy is just another example of big government overreach and fiscal irresponsibility. Instead of encouraging personal responsibility and fiscal prudence, his perpetual handouts only serve to deepen the entitlement mentality in America. It’s time for accountability, not endless bailouts.
