Biden’s Betrayal: U.S. Abstains, Throws Israel to Wolves!

Monday morning, the United Nations Security Council, an organization that frequently provides antisemites with sanctuary, rendered an absolutely abhorrent decision. An urgent armistice was demanded by the council between Israel, our most important ally in the Middle East, and Hamas, an Iranian-backed group of ruthless, bloodthirsty terrorists. This organization is accountable for more daily Jewish deaths than have occurred since the Holocaust.

It is unprecedented that the United States chose to abstain from voting on this catastrophic resolution. Rather than implementing a veto and effectively terminating this insanity, the Biden administration opted to estrange itself from Jerusalem, thereby neglecting the situation in Israel. What a sly maneuvering of the White House! This constitutes a conspicuous betrayal of an ally.

Even more perplexing is the notion that Hamas would acquiesce to the United Nations' demands and liberate the hostages it currently possesses. In all honesty, these infanticide masterminds and recurrent offenders will not comply with any purported "demand" from the "international community." The Biden administration's abandonment is merely a pretext to isolate and exert pressure on Israel.

Furthermore, to compound an already difficult situation, the United Nations is insisting that Israel surrender without returning its hostages. This is ludicrous. Israel is being urged to surrender in the absence of the captives, even as the terrorists persist in their endeavors to cause the deaths of innocent Israelis. It is analogous to asking the United States to cease its bombardment of Japanese kamikazes subsequent to the attack on Pearl Harbor. It is illogical to say the least.

To make matters worse, terrorists in the Gaza Strip fired another round of missiles at Ashdod, located on the Mediterranean coast of Israel, mere hours before the United Nations vote. Israel is currently defenseless as IDF troops readiness to intervene in Rafah, southern Gaza, in an effort to free innocent hostages. The Biden administration has therefore abandoned Israel.

Due to the United States' decision to abstain, Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of Israel, canceled arrangements for a government delegation to attend meetings with the Biden administration at the White House. This is a clear indication of the distress on our relationship with Israel caused by the Biden administration's inadequate leadership.

At such a critical juncture, the United States' decision to abandon our most vital ally in the Middle East is utterly abhorrent and unacceptable. One thing is certain, despite the ongoing and evolving nature of this situation: the Biden administration's inaction constitutes a betrayal of our allies and our values.
