President Joe Biden, the self-proclaimed champion of civility, has been caught red-handed using vulgar language to describe his predecessor, former President Donald Trump. According to Politico, at least three sources have confirmed that Biden referred to Trump as a “sick f—” in private settings. It seems that Biden’s true colors are seeping through his carefully constructed facade of unity and respect.
It is truly astonishing to witness the hypocrisy of Biden, who campaigned on the promise of restoring civility to our political discourse. Yet, behind closed doors, he resorts to baseless name-calling and derogatory language. It appears that Biden is more interested in playing to his own fanbase and perpetuating division than in living up to his own lofty rhetoric.
I can believe he said that. And a whole lot more. Trump is a threat to him. He's scared.

But it doesn’t stop there. During a speech near Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, Biden reportedly came dangerously close to publicly using the same vile language against Trump. He referred to him as “sick” before trailing off to the sound of applause and laughter from the crowd. This is a clear indication that Biden has no qualms about denigrating his political opponents, even in the presence of his adoring supporters.
Let’s not forget that this is not the first time Biden has engaged in such uncivil behavior. During the 2012 presidential campaign, he infamously accused then-Republican nominee Mitt Romney of wanting to put black people “back in chains.” It seems that Biden has a history of resorting to desperate and divisive tactics when it comes to his political adversaries.
What makes Biden’s behavior even more outrageous is his repeated accusations that Trump and his supporters pose a threat to democracy. Biden has made it a point to attack and demonize those who support the former president, painting them as enemies of the state. Yet, it is Biden himself who is engaging in inflammatory rhetoric and name-calling, further fueling the flames of division and animosity.
It is clear that Biden’s true intentions are not to bridge the gap between political ideologies, but rather to perpetuate a destructive “us versus them” narrative. By resorting to vulgar language and personal attacks, Biden is undermining his own credibility and demonstrating that he is not the leader of unity and civility he claimed to be.
In the end, Biden’s use of obscene language reveals his true character and his inability to rise above petty insults and name-calling. It is a disappointing display from a president who promised so much more. It’s clear that Biden’s campaign slogan of “Build Back Better” should have been “Tear Down and Insult.”
