District Judge Ana Reyes, hand-picked by President Biden, fearlessly called out the outrageous double standards being displayed by the Department of Justice (DOJ) under the Biden administration. With the House seeking answers on the dubious activities of Hunter Biden, the DOJ has been shamelessly turning a blind eye to subpoenas, illustrating a concerning level of arrogance and disregard for accountability. It is crystal clear that when it comes to the Bidens, the rules don’t apply – talk about hypocrisy!
Judge Reyes did not hold back in highlighting the blatant defiance exhibited by Biden’s DOJ in response to the House Judiciary Committee’s legitimate inquiries. It’s quite reminiscent of a spoiled child refusing to do their homework and facing no consequences. The audacity of Hunter Biden refusing a subpoena for a closed-door deposition from the House Oversight Committee speaks volumes about the entitled attitude that seems to run in the Biden family. It’s one rule for them and another for everyone else.
The judge rightfully pointed out the glaring contrast in treatment between Trump allies and the privileged Bidens. While Trump’s associates like Peter Navarro face prison time for defying subpoenas, Biden’s crew seems to enjoy a get-out-of-jail-free card. It’s a classic case of a two-tier system where political elites are coddled and shielded from the same scrutiny and consequences that others must face. The swamp remains deep and murky under the Biden administration.
Judge Reyes pointedly drew attention to the irony of the DOJ pursuing criminal actions against individuals like Navarro for non-compliance while turning a blind eye to their own colleagues flouting the same standards of accountability. The selective enforcement of justice is a stain on the legal system and a sobering reminder of the entrenched bias that continues to plague the corridors of power. The partisan games being played are as transparent as glass, but will anyone have the courage to hold the powerful accountable? One can only hope.
