The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is at it again! On Wednesday, the EPA’s administrator, Michael Regan, announced new emission standards that will apparently provide “options” and “protect” the Earth. But, let’s be real, we all know it’s just another way for the Biden administration to push their radical climate agenda.

The new standards aim to reduce so-called “greenhouse gasses” (whatever those are) and other pollutants that cause smog and soot. But, shocker, it also includes the promotion of electric vehicles. President Joe Biden even set out the ambitious goal of having half of all light trucks and passenger vehicles run on electricity by 2030. Good luck with that one, Joe.
While Regan claims that the EPA isn’t forcing any particular technology out of business, let’s not forget their decision to block the mining of 1.4 billion tons of precious metals in Alaska all in the name of protecting salmon.
But, the cherry on top of this eco-friendly sundae is the president’s Inflation Reduction Act, which includes tax credits for electric battery production. It’s just another example of the left trying to push their socialist agenda onto the American people.
Though Biden’s EPA may have vetoed a bi-partisan disapproval of the “Waters of the United States” rule that expands the EPA’s jurisdiction, a federal judge thankfully blocked its implementation.
It’s time we stop letting the EPA and the Biden administration use the environment as an excuse to push their leftist agenda. We need to focus on practical solutions that don’t harm our economy or stifle our individual freedoms.
