Biden’s Icy Indifference To Maui Death Toll Shocks Nation

In yet another display of self-absorption and lack of concern for American citizens, President Joe Biden continues to show where his priorities lie. While on yet another vacation, this time in Rehoboth Beach, Biden was asked about the devastating fire on Maui that has claimed the lives of at least 93 people, with many more still missing. His response? A chilly “No comment.”

Can you imagine if former President Donald Trump had responded this way? The media would have blasted him for his supposed callousness and lack of empathy. But with Biden, it seems he can do no wrong, simply because he has a “D” after his name. It’s a clear double standard, and it’s infuriating.

It’s not just the lack of comment that is concerning, but also the fact that Biden seems to be more interested in beach volleyball than addressing the tragedy. Instead of taking the time to offer condolences or reassurances, Biden spent hours on the beach, seemingly unfazed by the rising death toll. It’s a stark contrast to his vice president, Kamala Harris, who at least managed to offer a better response in a similar situation.

This isn’t the first time Biden has shown a lack of follow-through in the face of disaster. In the case of a train derailment in East Palestine, Biden initially claimed he would visit the area to assess the damage. However, he never followed through on that promise, seemingly hoping that people would forget about it. It’s a pattern of behavior that raises serious doubts about his ability to handle crises.

The American people deserve a president who is engaged, empathetic, and willing to take action in times of tragedy. Unfortunately, Biden continues to prove that he falls short on all counts. It’s truly astonishing that in the face of so much loss and devastation, he can’t even offer a simple comment. This kind of indifference is unacceptable, even for him.
