President Joe Biden’s re-election hopes are taking a nosedive faster than a lead balloon at a birthday party. While the beloved former President Donald Trump showed his respect by attending the memorial service of a heroic NYPD officer, Biden was off rubbing elbows with the liberal Hollywood elite at a swanky fundraiser. And if that wasn’t bad enough, he had to endure the jabs and jeers of pro-Palestine protestors who made it crystal clear that they’d rather chew on nails than cast their vote for ol’ Joe.
The president’s glitzy shindig reportedly raked in a whopping $25 million, but outside Radio City Music Hall, the atmosphere was more like a raucous circus than a sophisticated political affair. The air was thick with chants of “We’re never voting for Biden!” Oh, and let’s not forget the lovely descriptions the protestors had for the attendees – “fu**ing losers” and “genocide supporters” were just a couple of the choice phrases flung their way. Classy, right?

It’s clear that Biden’s unwavering support for Israel has left the Democratic party in disarray. In the Michigan Democratic primary, over ten percent of voters flat out refused to support him, marking their ballots as “uncommitted” in protest of his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict. And in Minnesota, a whopping 46,000 voters went the “uncommitted” route, making up 19 percent of the total vote share. It’s like a slap in the face to Biden, and he’s definitely feeling the burn.
The cherry on top of this political mess? A recent Fox News poll shows that if the election were held today, Trump would walk away with a solid lead. He’s got a five-percentage-point advantage over Biden, with 43 percent of registered voters throwing their support behind him, while poor ol’ Joe is left in the dust with a measly 38 percent.
So, is it time for Biden to start sweating bullets? It sure looks that way. With the Democratic party turning on him faster than a kite in a thunderstorm, these are some seriously rough waters for his re-election boat to navigate. And with every misstep, the GOP is just waiting to swoop in and claim victory. It’s a political drama fit for the big screen, folks.
