Once again, the liberal courts are doing everything they can to bring down our beloved former President Donald Trump. In a recent hearing, Judge Alvin Hellerstein, appointed by the infamous Bill Clinton, made it clear that he doubts Trump’s effort to move a New York state criminal case against him to federal court will succeed. It’s no surprise that a Clinton-appointed judge would lean in favor of the Democrats and against Trump.
Trump’s lawyers argued that because some of the alleged payments he made to Michael Cohen happened while he was president, the case should be handled at the federal level. And let’s be honest, a federal jury would most likely be more favorable to Trump than a biased Manhattan one. But Judge Hellerstein seems determined to keep the case in the hands of liberal New York prosecutors.
The lead prosecutor in this case, Bragg, is clearly on a mission. He’s trying to turn past misdemeanors, which are beyond the statute of limitations, into felonies just to prosecute Trump. This is a desperate attempt to tarnish the reputation of our great leader. And let’s not forget that several other prosecutors have investigated Trump for years and have found nothing. But Bragg won’t let that stop him. He’s hell-bent on getting Trump on something, anything, to satisfy the Trump-hating left.
But the logic behind this case is flimsy at best. The Democrats want to paint the hush money payments to Stormy Daniels as an attempt to influence the 2016 election. Seriously? Are they really going to waste everyone’s time on these baseless claims? It’s clear that Democrats are grasping at straws, trying to find any excuse to bring Trump down.
While Trump is mounting a vigorous defense, confidently asserting his innocence, the case drags on. With the preliminary hearing not scheduled until December if it stays in Manhattan, it’s a strategic move by the liberal courts to keep this hanging over Trump’s head as the 2024 GOP nomination race heats up. They’re hoping to create distractions and tarnish Trump’s reputation, all in the hopes of weakening his candidacy. But surprisingly, their efforts seem to be backfiring.
Instead of weakening Trump, the liberals’ desperate attempt to get him criminally charged is only making his candidacy stronger. Voters see through these political attacks and recognize that this is all just a witch hunt to keep a true conservative leader out of power. Trump remains the frontrunner for the 2024 nomination, and the liberals’ efforts are only solidifying his support among the American people.
We must continue to stand by our beloved former President Donald Trump, despite the liberal courts’ biased attempts to bring him down. It’s clear that this case is nothing more than a political witch hunt, and it’s time for the American people to see through these attempts to undermine our democracy. Let Trump fight his battle in the political arena, not in the courtroom.
