Former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton unleashed a scathing attack on Tucker Carlson, labeling the Fox News host as a “useful idiot” for Russian President Vladimir Putin during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Alex Wagner Tonight.”
In a typical liberal fashion, Clinton took aim at Carlson for his recent visit to Moscow to interview Putin, accusing him of being a willing mouthpiece for the Russian leader. She didn’t hold back, claiming that Carlson is so gullible that even Russian media makes fun of him, comparing him to a clueless puppy dog just following orders.
“Tucker Carlson is a Useful Idiot. He says things that are not true. He parrots Putin’s lies about Ukraine. He was fired because he fails to correlate his reporting with the truth…” -Hillary Clinton pic.twitter.com/bxUn6KxuMs

But let’s not forget, this is the same Hillary Clinton who managed to squander a significant lead in the 2016 presidential race and lost to Donald Trump – a political outsider. So, when it comes to making accurate assessments, she’s hardly batting 1000 herself.
It’s no secret that Clinton has long been critical of anyone who doesn’t tow the Democratic Party line, and she didn’t miss the opportunity to paint Carlson as a purveyor of falsehoods and propaganda. However, it seems her criticisms may be rooted more in partisan bitterness than a genuine concern for journalistic integrity.
As usual, Clinton’s remarks are just another example of the left’s eagerness to demonize and discredit conservatives. Instead of engaging in meaningful dialogue, the Democrats continue to resort to name-calling and baseless accusations. And with their track record of finger-pointing and hypocrisy, it’s no wonder so many Americans are skeptical of their motives.
So, while Clinton may try to sling mud at Tucker Carlson, it’s important to remember that this is just another cheap shot from a political has-been desperately seeking relevance.
