In the latest display of Democrat-driven shenanigans, the Colorado Supreme Court has shamelessly decided to remove Donald Trump from their 2024 ballot. This outrageous move is a slap in the face to the millions of Americans who support Trump and want to see him continue fighting for our country. It’s yet another example of the left’s ongoing effort to undermine our democracy and silence conservative voices.
The decision is a blatant and unconstitutional attack on President Trump’s right to run for office. It’s no surprise that this move is being championed by mostly Republican anti-Trump lawyers who have bought into the left’s narrative. They are shamelessly peddling the baseless claim that Trump engaged in armed rebellion or insurrection against the United States, which is nothing short of absurd.

Thankfully, not all states are falling for this nonsense. Michigan, for example, has rejected similar attempts to remove Trump from their ballot. The Michigan Supreme Court rightly upheld Trump’s right to run in the state’s primary, dismissing the ridiculous arguments brought forth by those trying to keep him off the ballot.
Courts in Arizona and Minnesota have also shut down similar efforts to bar Trump from the 2024 election. Even New Hampshire, despite considering the idea, ultimately chose not to pursue such a far-fetched scheme. It’s clear that these desperate attempts to thwart Trump’s candidacy are failing across the country.
Let’s not forget that Trump has not been charged with any of these outlandish accusations. The left’s obsession with trying to paint him as a villain knows no bounds. The fact that even Special Counsel Jack Smith couldn’t find enough evidence to bring an insurrection charge against Trump should put an end to these ludicrous attempts to block him from running.
The notion of using old Civil War precedent to justify keeping Trump off the ballot is preposterous. It’s a blatant disregard for due process and a dangerous ploy to disenfranchise millions of Americans who support Trump. It’s clear that this is nothing more than a political game being played by those who fear the power and influence of President Trump.
In the face of this partisan and unconstitutional attack, it’s crucial that we stand up for our democratic principles and the rights of all candidates to participate in the electoral process. The left’s attempts to block Trump from running in 2024 will ultimately fail, and the will of the American people will prevail.
