In a stunning display of anti-Americanism and lack of critical thinking, Democrat Rep. Cori Bush took a wrecking ball to Republicans who are against the “woke” movement. During a recent hearing, she claimed that those conservatives who oppose wokeness are also against Black people, even going so far as to call them “anti-black.” With a straight face, she argued that anyone who is against “equality and justice for Black folks” should be ashamed of themselves.
But let’s just say what wokeness really is: A radical liberal agenda that is determined to destroy American values and oppress law-abiding citizens. It’s all about silencing, shaming, and degrading anyone who disagrees with their political agenda. By claiming opposition to wokeness means being against Black people, Bush is insulting and undermining the real struggles that African Americans have faced throughout our history.

It’s alarming to see just how far the left is willing to go to push their agenda, even if it means putting people in danger. Their support for the transgender movement, for instance, has led to an explosion of minors undergoing horrific surgeries before their brains develop. Is this really the kind of society we want to live in?
Bush also went on to label Republicans as fascists and white supremacists, trying to paint them as the enemy of justice and equality. This kind of rhetoric is not only dangerous but also completely untrue. It’s an attempt to silence anyone who dares to question the woke agenda, and to demonize law-abiding citizens who rightfully demand integrity in elections.
The truth is that the Republican Party is not against Black people or anyone else. In fact, it is the party that has historically fought for the rights of all Americans, regardless of race, gender, or religion. It is rooted in the principles of individual liberty, limited government, and fiscal responsibility. Republicans believe in restoring our country to greatness, and that greatness includes celebrating our diversity, not dividing us by race.
Cori Bush may think that wokeness is the answer to all of our problems, but true Americans know better. We will not stand idly by while the left tries to erase our history, silence our voices, and destroy our values. We will fight back, and we will win.
