FBI Director Kash Patel made a similar promise on television, saying arrests over the alleged effort to rig the 2020 election are “coming soon.” That kind of language from two senior officials isn’t something you shrug off at the water cooler.

The talk isn’t happening in a vacuum. A federal grand jury in Florida is said to be looking into matters tied to the 2020 results, and federal agents executed a search warrant in Fulton County and took ballots and materials. The Department of Justice has reportedly added former U.S. attorney Joe diGenova to assist prosecutors in the Southern District of Florida. So we’re seeing words backed up with subpoenas, search warrants, and grand jury activity.
Why This Could Be Big
If real, verifiable evidence comes forward, it will change how Americans view the 2020 election and the institutions that declared the result. Right now, much of the public has only heard either confident denials from Democrats and the media or promises from Republican officials. Evidence would move the argument from talk radio and cable panels into the courtroom and the historical record.
But until we see documents, sworn testimony, or indictments, reasonable people should treat these promises with healthy skepticism.
