Demand Justice: Honor Charlie Kirk with Facts, Not Conspiracies

Americans are rightly outraged and grieving in the wake of a brutal political assassination that targeted one of our movement’s brightest voices. We owe it to Charlie Kirk — and to every hardworking patriot who shows up to speak their mind — to demand truth, transparency, and justice instead of giving oxygen to sensational rumors meant to distract and divide. Conservative communities will not be cowed by the fake outrage merchants who peddle wild theories to score clicks; we want the facts to speak for themselves.

Charlie Kirk was fatally shot while speaking at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025, and authorities arrested and charged Tyler Robinson with aggravated murder; prosecutors say the case includes video, forensic evidence, and writings they contend show premeditation and motive. This is not a vague controversy or an unmoored rumor — prosecutors have laid out the elements that could support the most serious penalties under Utah law.

Over the July 6–10 preliminary hearing, prosecutors told the court they would present surveillance footage, autopsy findings, and alleged admissions by the accused to establish probable cause to send the case to trial. Defense attorneys, predictably, argued that media coverage and public commentary have prejudiced the process and sought limits on what the public may see. The judge nonetheless declined to bar cameras outright, signaling that transparency will be part of how the system combats misinformation.

Meanwhile, fringe influencers and attention-seekers have circulated conspiratorial claims about alternate shooters and political set-ups, a pattern we’ve seen too often when tragedy strikes on the right. That noise threatens to drown out the hard work of investigators and to complicate an already difficult path to a fair trial. Responsible conservatives should reject these theatrics and insist that speculation not substitute for evidence.

TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet has been blunt and correct in pushing back against the conspiracy garbage, telling viewers that more evidence will be presented and that the public should judge on what the court actually hears. His insistence that a “mountain” of evidence exists reflects what prosecutors say they have: surveillance, forensic links, and other exhibits that will be examined in open court. Conservatives who love free speech must also love due process — and that means letting investigators do their jobs while opposing baseless rumor-mongering.

The decision to allow cameras and public scrutiny was the right one; sunlight is the best disinfectant against lies and half-truths from opportunists on either side. We should cheer the openness that permits everyday Americans to see the evidence and reject the armchair sleuths who traffic in conjecture. If conservatives want credibility, we must insist on facts, not fairy tales.

Now is not the hour for infighting or for amplifying every wild theory that surfaces online — it is the hour to stand united behind the rule of law, to honor Charlie Kirk’s memory by seeking the truth, and to demand that justice be done without fear or favor. To hardworking Americans who love liberty: stay vigilant, support fair proceedings, and don’t let the loudest voices on the internet steer us away from a sober, fact-driven pursuit of justice.
