When Democrats cozy up to questionable characters and then act shocked when a scandal erupts, Americans are supposed to look the other way. Well, guess what: people are finally paying attention.
For years, Eric Swalwell strutted around Washington like he owned the place, wagging his finger at conservatives while hiding his own dirty laundry. All it took was the exposure of his connections with a Chinese spy to show everyone just how deep the rot goes in their party. And now, the heat is turning up on Gallego, Swalwell’s so-called “best friend.” Funny how these leftist politicians love to lecture us about democracy and American values while making back-room deals and rubbing shoulders with people who don’t exactly have our freedom at heart.

Let’s be real. If a Republican got even half as mixed up in these kinds of scandals, the liberal mob and their friends in the corporate press would demand blood. Investigations would drag on, careers would be over, and the media would call it a threat to the republic itself. But with Democrats, they spin every story until the truth is buried under excuses. Americans are tired of a two-tiered justice system that punishes honest patriots but lets Democrats skate by because of their party label.
The big question now is: how many other “best friends” in the Democrat Party have their own secrets to hide? When will they put their country before their own egos and stop colluding with anyone willing to hand out political favors—foreign spies or otherwise? Or will they just keep blaming everyone else and pretending they stand for the American people? The only thing less secure than Swalwell’s judgment is the Democrats' commitment to the truth.
