Democrats Fear Arrest if Trump Wins Again Amid Panic

House Democrats are apparently in a panic, fearing for their safety and possible arrest if former President Donald Trump wins re-election. They are losing their minds over a post on Truth Social, where Trump suggested that former Rep. Liz Cheney should be jailed, along with the rest of the January 6 investigation committee.

Rep. Adam Schiff seems to have been contemplating his safety, saying, “My wife and I have had conversations about what life would look like if the worst happened.” Another Democrat, House Democratic Caucus Chairman Pete Aguilar, seems to be taking the threat of being jailed seriously, claiming that his family would visit him in jail “no matter where I am.” Rep. Zoe Lofgren also joined the fretful chorus, expressing her concerns that Trump intends to follow through on his words.

Former D.C. Police Officer Michael Fanone, who has become a CNN analyst, and former U.S. Capitol Police officer Harry Dunn, who is now running for Congress as a Democrat, are also sounding the alarm. They believe that anyone who has spoken out against Trump should be worried.

The Trump camp fired back, calling the entire narrative a lie and accusing Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, Liz Cheney, and the Democrats of covering up evidence and denying key witnesses from testifying. They assert that Trump and his supporters never engaged in an alleged ‘insurrection’.

It appears that the Democrats are still reeling from their failed efforts to pin the events of January 6 solely on Trump and his supporters. With the disbandment of the January 6 committee after Republicans won control of the House, it seems the Democrats’ fears may be more about political irrelevance than actual danger.
