Dems Tantrum in Florida Sun, Whine Over Abortion While Court Draws Line

The House Democrats are at it again, folks! On Tuesday, they hosted a field hearing in sunny Florida to cry about abortion access. They couldn’t resist whining about this issue, even after the Florida Supreme Court gave the thumbs-up to a six-week ban coming into effect next month.

The field hearing, which started at 10 a.m. in Broward County, saw a bunch of Democratic bigwigs like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and a whole slew of Florida representatives, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Darren Soto. And let’s not forget about Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, who just had to join in on the fun.

Abortion, of course, was front and center for the Democrats because, you know, they’re just dying to retake the House from us Republicans. They’re hoping to ride the wave of support for access to the procedure all the way to victory in November. They got lucky in the midterms when Roe v. Wade got overturned, and they’re hoping lightning strikes twice.

Now, here’s the kicker! You won’t believe this, but the Florida Supreme Court upheld a 15-week abortion ban and paved the way for that six-week ban to kick in on May 1. It’s about time this liberal stronghold got a wake-up call! But hold your horses, because the court also said voters will get to decide on a ballot measure to protect the right to abortion up to about 24 weeks in November. Can you believe it?

But wait, there’s more! The Democrats are all giddy because they see this as a win for them. They’ve been working hard to make sure the abortion rights amendment gets on the ballot. And they’re not alone. Nine states are stirring the pot on abortion rights amendments, and four others are scrambling to include an amendment on their 2024 ballots. This is getting out of hand, folks!

The icing on the cake? The Biden campaign is grinning from ear to ear about the abortion ruling, thinking it’ll give them a boost in the elections. And let’s not forget about the implications for Senator Rick Scott’s reelection bid. It’s like a soap opera unfolding right before our eyes!

Rep. Dan Kildee has also joined the chorus, planning to brag about his state’s success in cementing abortion rights in the state constitution during Tuesday’s hearing. It’s all just a big show for these Democrats, isn’t it?

Well, there you have it, folks. The Democrats are up to their old tricks again, making a fuss about abortion and trying to score political points at the expense of unborn babies. It’s a wild ride, but someone has to call out their nonsense!
